2018 OPA Active Employee Benefit Book
This year our benefits administrator Coughlin created two active employee benefit books - one for sworn and another for civilian members. This was a departure from the past and has generated some questions. Across the entire benefit spectrum there is only one small difference between the two groups, the structure of the long-term disability benefit. To alleviate any possible confusion we asked Coughlin to create a single Active Member Benefits Book that sets out both LTD structures.
On a going-forward basis we ask that you refer to the attached benefits book. As always if you have any questions about your benefit entitlements please contact the OPA office.
