Patrick Laflamme is a Labour Relations Officer with the Ottawa Police Association, prior to joining the Association full time; Patrick was an elected member on the board of directors for the Association since 2011. He chaired several committees such as labour issues fund, grievance and special projects. He has 23 years of policing experience which includes working in patrol, public order unit, neighbourhood officer, robbery, major crime and surveillance. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 2008. Patrick, in both official languages, represents police officers and civilian members at hearings, conciliations, mediations, RWP and HRTO investigations. As part of his current duties, he sits on several OPS/OPA the Joint Committees.
He is a graduate of the Executive Leadership program from Telfer School of Management and Harvard Law, completed advanced mediation training with MDR Associates conflict resolutions and the Professional Standards prosecutors/police representation from Georgian College.
Avid golfer, hunter and fisherman, Pat likes to swat mosquitoes when not in the city.
